Spring time

Life is in full swing.  Carly has taken to climbing on EVERYTHING, so she keeps us very busy.  The other day, I went in to put something in the bedroom, came back and Carly was on the table...on the table!  She had never even climbed up in a chair, let alone up on the table! 

On another note, we've gotten some pretty good pics of the girls this spring.

More dance class

So here are some videos to go with the pictures from the previous post.  Once again, I tried to narrow it down, but I've decided to post them all!  They are just too cute.  It might be overkill, but I hope you enjoy them.  As I said before, most of the sessions are closed.  When we first started in this class, I was a little upset that we didn't get to watch each week, but after watching for the first time, I understood.  Addy's teacher is a saint!  Imagine 12 or so 2-4 year olds in a room together and being responsible for them actually reaching a common goal.  Then throw in the parents viewing thru the window.  As you can see from the following videos, it is quite challenging...but oh so adorable!!!

By the way, the sound effects for the videos are provided by Carly!!!

These last two are just quick clips of Addy galloping and skipping, skills she has learned and practiced each week in her class. Pretty cool!

Whew...all done!  That took a while. Enjoy =)

Dance

Once a month the blinds go up and we are allowed to view Addy's dance class...the rest of the time, the sessions are closed.  I finally brought my camera along so I could get some pics.  They aren't great, as I took them through the glass, but all the while, so adorable!

More priceless photos...

Posting to the blog can be challenging sometimes, because we take a lot of pictures and it is very difficult to decide which pictures make the cut.  Here are some more pics of our beautiful family.  Carly is growing up so fast.  She's in that phase where she changes almost daily.  Looking at these photos from March (now late May), she has really changed a lot just in these past two months.  She is into everything, exploring and learning.  She wants to do and say everything her sister does and says.  It's very cute. 

Addy LOVES to pick flowers.  It's a wonder my parents' plants have any flowers left on them at all.   She likes to make bouquets or arrange them with Gi to decorate the house and as seen below, she also likes to put them in her hair.  Not sure you can get any cuter...

Wow...it's been a while!

It has been quite some time since we've updated you on what's been going on in our world...  Well, to put it simply - A LOT!  Furthermore, I don't see it slowing down any time soon.  I don't really even know where to begin, but I'll try to catch you up on everything!  In an effort to keep true to my OCD ways, I'll try to stick to the timeline. 

Our girls are growing up...

Here we have "mean pirate Addy", a name she has given herself.  Believe me, she's got the attitude to go along with the face!  

And quite literally - the very next picture, we have "sweet princess Addy".  She also has the attitude (or lack there of) to accompany this face as well!   It's amazing (and sometimes frustrating) to watch her go from one to the other in the blink of an eye.  This is actually one of my FAVORITE pics to date of Addyson. 

Outside in the rain again...

This time, Carly was NOT being left out =)

This object of this game is - what can Carly do to Addy to get her to take her eyes off of the TV?  

Really, the answer is - Not a thing.  Addy takes her TV time very seriously. 

Carly is well known for making quite a mess when she is eating - and I must add, it hasn't gotten much better.  I don't remember Addy being this messy, but in my defense, I've lost sight of the timeline of how and when things have happened with our girls.  We also had an 80 lb vacuum cleaner that did most of our floor cleaning when Addy was this age - so that might have something to do with it. 

It's raining, it's pouring...

It's debatable whether Addy is being naughty or nice to her sister in this picture, but I can vouch that the girls were having a lot of fun when this picture was taken.  No tears were shed during the taking of this picture! 

We woke up one morning and it was raining (drizzling) outside.  Addy got her umbrella and rain boots and headed outside.  Carly unfortunately has neither, but she was still able to go outside and play.  (I know, being the second child is tough!)   Here are some pics of the girls playing in the rain!  (Actually, the sprinklers were on too, so it wasn't raining very hard at all, but any chance Addy has to play outside with her umbrella, she'll take it.)

Finally legal

We finally got Addyson a helmet for her bicycle.  So here she is, again, riding her bike.

Here is Carly trying on her sister's helmet.  I know what you are thinking...cool outfit Carly!  If you guessed 70's, you were right.  This was Jill's outfit when she was a little girl!  

 Carly was distraught when her cart flipped over.  She worked diligently until she got it upright again.
