Addy's Birthday
Addy is 3 years old! It's so hard to believe. She is growing up so fast. We could not be more proud of our big girl. We love you Addyson! Here are some pics of her big day.
Thanks Em for the penguins...and thanks for sending one for both girls! They are truly great and the girls LOVE them.
I have to keep this umbrella hidden or Addyson would play with it all the time. She recently read a Winnie the Pooh story where Pooh used his umbrella as a float to get across the water. So of course, Addy wanted to take a ride in hers, thankfully, just on the living room floor!
Addy is still talking about this cake. When I asked her what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday, she answered without hesitation, "A princess cake"! She still caries these princess figurines around with her. If you ask her anything about her birthday (How old are you, when is your birthday, what did you get for your birthday, etc.), she will tell you about her princess cake.
Even amongst all of the princess, Addy still has time for Happy Feet! In this pic, she is actually playing a Happy Feet game on her 'Aunt' Cyndi's phone. Oh yeah, check out Jeff's hats!
We gave Carly some ice cream in a cup and she had an absolute blast! She used her spoon for a little while, but finally she just turned it up.
Thanks Uncle Tim for Mr. Potato head. Addy LOVES it!

Addy again with the umbrella!
Some girly fun...
It's great to be a Florida Gator!
Later that night...
...we had some spaghetti and Carly took to eating hers with her fork. It's always a scary task...giving your toddler a fork for the first time, but she did well! We are both excited and frustrated to say that we now have TWO very independent children, who want to do EVERYTHING by themselves!
Unlike our first born, Carly loves to have her teeth brushed. AND, she'll let me help her. I think it has a lot to do with her wanted to do whatever her sister is doing. She'll walk in the bathroom and grunt and point up to indicate that she wants to have her teeth brushed...again!
Let the birthday celebration begin! We let Addy open her presents over a period of time, instead of doing it all at once. She started the night before with these Tinkerbell pj's...thanks GG Carlean. If you'll remember, Carly has a one that matches and Addy was more than thrilled to put hers on immediately.

Dance performance
Addy started a dance class a while back and she had her first performance on Dec. 10. As you can imagine, we were very excited and proud of her. Her entire performance lasted 1 minute and 40 seconds, but don't worry, we got the whole thing on video for you (and pictures too)!
Getting on to stage...
If you noticed in the video, there was a point where Addyson realized that Jeff and family were sitting to her right and she stopped dancing and started grinning!
...Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be dancing...check out my cool moves!
Oh and I almost forgot. The morning before the performance, we went to the Christmas parade and none other than Shaquille O'Neal was in the parade! We were standing there watching and someone my dad knew was part of his group. He reached out and took Addy from my dad and put her up on the float with Shaq! Addy was a little rattled as she had no idea what was going on. But we made eye contact with her and let her know she was okay. My mom was snapping pictures of Shaq and had no idea that Addy had been put on the float. Luckily when we went thru her pics, she had gotten one of Addy with Shaq. How crazy!!!

Butterfly's and more
Here are the pics from our Christmas card this year along with some of the other frontrunners that we had to choose from.
I imagine most families have one of these picture...the older child pushing the younger child in the baby doll stroller. It's so sweet!
Carly is learning the art of forward motion on her car. She is getting pretty good at it...I guess when you have an older sister to chase around, you learn pretty fast.
But apparently even more fun than going forward is crashing!
Here is a little video of Audrey, Avery, and Addy dancing...I think on Thanksgiving morning...
The girls eating/drinking "Ketchup Soup"...
LOVE this picture!
My first ponytail!

Addy, Addy, Addy
We took Addy to her first Gator game in November. Her favorite things included riding on her daddy's shoulders, walking up and down the stairs to our seats (over and over again), having snacks, and getting to sit on the alligator. I'm not sure she even know there was a game going on =) However, she did want to know why she couldn't go down and play football too!!!
