Lil Miss Sunshine

Daddy dressed Carly in this great outfit one morning and to our surprise, she left the hood on for hours.  This is our child who will not wear a hat or keep a bow/barrett in her hair.  Either way, it's too cute!  In the first pic, she's checking herself out in a mirror.

Carly thinks she is as big as her sister.  Whatever Addy does, Carly wants to try also.

Reading in the morning

I woke up one morning to the sound of my girls chatting.  I went in to find this...Addy had filled Carly's crib with books and Carly was diligently reading them.  Addy had also gotten her own stack of books and was sitting on the floor reading.  Life is good! 

Valentine's Day

We had a busy Valentine's this year.  To start, Addy and I made cupcakes (pink cake AND pink icing at Addy's request).  It was tons of fun! 

Addy and Jeff went to their first Daddy-Daughter Dance.  It was so cute and she was so excited.  Isn't she just so beautiful!  They had dinner at Chick-fil-a before attending the dance.  Carly was devastated when they left without her, but we had a fun night at home, once she got over being left behind.

Addy's dance class happened to fall on Valentine's day, so she wanted to dress the part.  Here are a couple of cute pics of the girls before leaving for class.  In this first pic, they are practicing their forward roles together. 

Art with Daddy

Okay, so here's how this story goes...  It's Saturday morning and Jeff and I decide we are going to take the girls to the park for a little while.  At this point, Carly is still in her PJ's, so Jeff takes the girls outside to play while I go in to get Carly some clothes and pack a snack bag.  A little later I come out, bag and clothes in hand.  Jeff grins and says, well, we've kind of gotten involved in another project!  Here are some pics of our little artists!

Then, to make it even better, we turned the hose on them to TRY and get them cleaned up!  So much fun!!!
