Florida Vacation

Okay...so once again we have been delinquent in posting to the blog. We have been going, going, going. But the good news is, we have lots of new pictures to show and stories to tell. So, over the next few days, you will get to see what we have been doing over the last month or so. To start, we spent a week in Ormond Beach. We took around 400 or so pictures while we were there, so you can imagine the trouble we had narrowing down which ones to post. Here are a few (and more) of our favorites.

We'll start with Addyson at the pool. She really loves it. She is very relaxed in the water, has no problem with us dunking her, and does a great job 'swimming' back and forth between two people. In the one picture, there were these fountains that sprayed water at you as you swam by, and Addy loved to play with them.






















Next, we'll show Addyson in the sand. She was a little unsure at first (as you can see she is holding her hands up in the first picture), but once we started playing and digging, and she could get her hands in it, she had some fun.













































































In the next two, Addyson and Jeff are sitting at the water's edge. She really wasn't too sure of the waves coming up around her. But, being the great little trooper that she is, she entertained us and eventually realized that it wasn't so bad. Also, I couldn't get over how little she looked sitting there next to Jeff on the beach.

Lastly, these are pictures of Addyson in the ocean. When we first arrived in Ormond, we basically unloaded the car, walked down to the water, and waded in to see how Addyson would like the water. The waves were coming at us, not so quietly, and Addyson was not too happy about it. Each day, we would take her down to the water to let her get more used to it and by midweek, she was doing great. In many (maybe even most) of the pictures we took of her in the water, she is looking down at the water. But we were lucky to get a few good ones. Here they are...
