Addy and Carly (and Hershey)!

I am now 30 weeks pregnant, so we had our 4D Ultrasound yesterday.  Here's a picture of our little baby Carlean (Carly)!  We are eagerly awaiting her arrival. 

Now back to the Addy show!!!  Yes, this picture was taken in August :).  Addyson has been getting more involved in choosing her clothing (especially her shoes).  She went into her closet the other day and insisted that we help her put her jacket on.  (It was 90 degrees outside!!!)  However, she wore it for a good hour before allowing us to take it off...peacefully that is. 

I have been diligently cutting and coring apples for Addyson, trying to get her to eat them (since her recent strike of all fruits).  Little did I know that what she wanted was the whole apple.  Jeff was eating this apple and she eagerly took it from him and started munching on it. 

And here's Hershey...he doesn't get much of the spotlight anymore, but he looked very handsome in this photo, so I thought I'd post it! 

Final post from Florida!!!

These are some miscellaneous shots and videos from Florida, that I thought were worth sharing. 

Our little surfer girl...

Addyson rarely lets me put anything in her hair.  It took a joint effort of me putting the pony tails in her hair and everyone else making a fuss over how cute they were for her to leave them in.  It's also worth noting, she left them in ALL DAY!!!

Junk food...

I  hate to say that Addyson had her share of cookies and ice cream while were in Florida, not to mention potato chips, but she surely enjoyed them...

My photo lens was fogging up, so if you cannot tell, Addy is munching on a cookie (for breakfast). 

Dinner and dancing

While were visiting Florida (yes, I'm still beginning the blogs with this statement!), we went to dinner at the Inlet Harbor, where they have outdoor seating and live music.  They also have awesome sunsets!!!  So...we enjoyed a nice sunset, and some good food and dancing. 

If you notice that my mom's shorts are wet, it's because Addyson sat in her lap and munched on ice when she wasn't up dancing.  (I mentioned we sat outside...in Florida...in the summer, so it was a bit warm.)

More beach vacation

Here are some photos of us at the actual beach! 

Back at the pool...this is the hose that people are to use to wash there feet off when they come up from the beach.  Addy would actually exit the pool to go over and play with it. 

Addyson figured out that if she stuck her finger over the hole, it would spray people.  She thought this was great, especially when it sent us all running, including random people that we didn't know.  Try explaining to an 18 month old who she's allowed to spray and who she's not...

Water Slide

At our hotel, they had this awesome water slide.  It took us most of the week to get up the nerve to take Addyson down with us.  It was a good choice to take her...she had tons of fun and wanted to do it over and over again!!!

Every time we would get to the bottom, she would tap her knuckles together repeatedly, letting us know (in sign language) that she wanted to go AGAIN!

Week at the beach

We spent a week at the beach in Florida.  We took lots of videos and pictures to share with you!  I'm hoping to get them all up over the next couple of days, so stay tuned :-)  Here are several...
Addyson LOVED the pool, so we spent most of our time there.  That's why we started with pics/videos of the pool.  We went to the beach several times also and those pictures will follow.

Uncle Donald's Farm

While we were in Florida, we took Addyson to a place, very near and dear to my heart - Uncle Donald's Farm.  I visited there as a kid and we thought Addy would enjoy it also.  It's home to many rescued animals that you can view, feed, and/or pet. 

They brought a mama goat in and let the kids take turns milking her. Then they brought in the baby "kid" and let the kids pass the bottle around to feed it. 

Addyson would touch the sheep with ONE finger and that was all she cared to do :-)

Just the sweetest little girl...

So they did the neatest thing with the cows!  They loaded US up for a hay ride in an enclosed trailer.  Then, they took us out the the field where the cows were, stopped the tractor and let us feed the cows through the bars.  That's the best I can describe it...take a look at the pictures and video for a better description!

Addyson was very amused when my mom put this on her head.  She is checking herself out in the mirror. 

In this video, we are at GiGi and Papa Dave's house having a yummy breakfast.  They were awfully nice to let Addyson go in and out of this sliding glass door, while letting all of the "bought" air out :-)

At the lake

We had a great time visiting Jill's family in Florida.  These photos are of us at the lake.  Addyson is becoming quite the little fish.  She is really comfortable in the water.
