Audrey, Avery, and Addyson

We were blessed to have our cousins, Allison, Iain and their girls stop by last weekend for a visit on their way across country. We had such a good time!

Shoes...and an some exciting news!

Jeff and I had our "big" 20 week Dr.'s appointment this week and we found out that we are expecting another baby girl in early November!!! We are just delighted to be expanding our family. We are a little concerned that Addy's world is going to be "rocked", but it should be fun...a little hectic, but fun!!!

Now, back to the Addy show... :-)

Addyson is growing like crazy and seems to get busier by the day! She definitely keeps us on our toes:) Here are some random videos of what she's up to these days.

Here's the story that goes with this video...
Addyson is establishing her independence, so her latest thing is that she wants to feed herself. She's been doing this for awhile, but we could still squeeze bites in with a spoon here and there, when we wanted her to eat something (that maybe she didn't want to eat...like veggies). However, now, she won't accept anything off our spoon. But she's still learning to eat with her silverware, so sometimes when the spoon enters her mouth, not much is on it. So her mom and dad worrying that she isn't getting enough to eat, we found a way to help her that she will usually accept. When Addy scoops up her food onto her spoon, we would take a fork and "help" by knocking a little extra onto the spoon. This worked for a while, but then she caught on. In this video, she is trying to do what I was doing, at least her version of it. She took the fork from me and tried to knock the food onto her spoon. Now as you will see, that is not at all what she is doing, but still oh so adorable:)

Magnolia

Jill's mom visited with us last week and she brought her cat, Magnolia, with her. Addyson just cannot get enough of the "meow". She followed Maggie everywhere and when Maggie did get away, Addy spent her time searching for her. Maggie is a real trooper...

Addyson had a really good time playing in her little pool last weekend. I tried to narrow down the photos, but I thought she looked so cute in all of them:) In the video, she thought it was really fun to turn the hose on all of us and laughed like crazy when she sent us running away!!!

Addyson's first haircut

We finally decided it was time to cut Addy's bangs, as they were constantly in her eyes...and getting her to wear a hair tie can sometimes be impossible. However, getting her to sit still long enough to cut her hair had me a little worried also. So, we put her in her high chair and put her in front of the tv. That worked, except when my mom got between Addy and the tv... she would lean over so she could continue seeing the show!

Festival

We went to a Lebanese festival, where, as you can see, they had a Lebanese bounce house and Lebanese snow cones! They also had some great Lebanese music and food! We didn't take any pictures of Jeff dancing or eating!!! We did have a really good time:)
